You can do it on your own.

This is a mock ad campaign for Harbor Freight, a discount tool and equipment retailer, that aims to empower young home owners to do DIY handiwork on their own.

Our team of 4 discovered that many young home owners believe they do not have the skills to do handiwork for their home and therefore are afraid to buy tools. After creating a provisional persona based off of market research and writing a creative brief, we individually developed and designed our own ad concept and multi-faceted campaign. These monsters, aimed to show that handiwork is not as scary as they seem, were hand drawn in Illustrator.

This was an exercise at Marist College, and was well received in class.
